Mount Dhaulagiri (8167meters), the world’s seventh highest peak, rises majestically in isolation just above the deep cliff of the Kali Gandaki valley which unfolds breathtaking around Dhaulagiri trek at its best. Dhaulagiri circuit trekking is one of the challenging adventure treks in Nepal.

Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek is an extremely challenging trek in Nepal, that winds across two passes of 5000m plus. The trekking adventure, which encounters exceedingly beautiful Hidden Valley allows the trekkers to literally touch the majestic mountain Dhaulagiri at Dhaulagiri Base Camp. Diverse culture, treading through different types of forests to treeless zone and getting as close as possible to peaks like Dhaulagiri and Dhampus Peak are great highlights of Dhaulagiri Circuit Trek.

Outline Itinerary

Day01: Arrival at Kathmandu 1,310m.Welcome Program by Himalayan Magic Treks member and direct transfer to Hotel in Kathmandu with Bed & Break plan.
Day02: Permit preparation day in Kathmandu valley.
Day03: Drive to Beni (8,50m) by bus.
Day04: Trek to Babiachor (950m.).
Day05: Trek to Dharapani (1,400m.)
Day06: Trek to Muri (1,850m).
Day07: Trek to Boghara (2,080m).
Day08: Trek to Dobang (2,520m).
Day09: Trek to Choriban Khola (3,110m).
Day10: Trek to the Italian Base Camp (3,660m).
Day11: Acclimatization and rest day.
Day12: Trek to the Glacier Camp (4,210m).
Day13: Trek to the Dhaulagiri Base Camp (4,740m).
Day14: Another acclimatization and rest day.
Day15: Cross the French Pass (5,360m), then trek to the Hidden Valley (5,200m).
Day16: Cross Dhampus pass (5,200m), and trek to Yak Kharka (3,680m).
Day17: Trek to Jomsom (2,710m).
Day16: Fly to Kathmandu and check into the hotel.
Day17: Farewell and Transfer to the airport for onward destination.
